Online Pre Entry Instructions

NOTES: 

• Please read the instructions before you try to do Pre Entry

• You will pick up your entry number and pay your fees once you get to the show grounds.  

• If you would like to use your own number, indicate that number in the COMMENTS section (last screen) as you enter your horse.  These numbers will be allowed on a first come, first serve basis!

• Normal fees will be applied and your membership deduction will have to be applied when you pick up your entry packet on the show grounds.

ShowMyHorse.com is intended to make the task of entering your horse into a horse show easier for you, the exhibitor. When you enter your horse into a show there normally is a long application that you must fill out with the horse's name, registration number, foal year, your name and address etc. etc. This information is then repeated for every show you attend which again is taking up your valuable time. Now there's an easier way!

What ShowMyHorse.com has done to make this easier on you is to create a database where you can store all of this information. Now when you need to fill out the entry application you simply select the horse, owner, exhibitor and classes you want to enter from the database. The entry form is then compiled into an email and sent to the Show Secretary. You will also receive a copy of this same email which is your confirmation copy of the entry form.

The first thing you need to do is create yourself a login. Your login is your own unique identifier. Now when you log in the system knows which are your horses, owners and exhibitors. 

To create your login press the "Login" link on the left side link panel. Now locate and press the button labeled "New User". When you have completed all fields, press the "Activate my Login". You will receive an email with your login information which you should save for future reference.

After you've setup your login click on the Button called "Horse Shows" and you will be taken to a page which will display a list of the shows that are being held in your state.

If the PHA show has been set up with ShowMyHorse.comthe show name will be displayed on the "Horse Shows" screen when you login. You can simply click the show and a Show information screen will be displayed.

Entering your horse into horse shows couldn't be easier. Here's all you do:

• Login into ShowMyHorse.com

• Select the horse show you wish to enter

• Press the "Enter My Horse" button at the bottom of the screen

• If you've previously setup your horse you can use the drop-down menu and select your horse which will automatically complete the horse information fields with your horse information

• Otherwise press the "New" button to setup your horse, owner and trainer by completing the following screen:
  Note: Your owner is automatically filled in with information from your login profile. You can change the owner by either selecting a different owner from the drop-down menu and pressing the "Change Owner" button or press the "New Owner" button and complete the owner information fields. If you have previously setup your trainer you can select him/her from drop-down menu, press the "Change Trainer" button and the trainer fields will be filled in.

• When you have completed the horse, owner and trainer fields either select an exhibitor from the Exhibitor drop-down menu or press the "New Exhibitor" button to create your exhibitor. The following screen will be appended to the Horse, Owner and Trainer screen.

• Complete the exhibitor information and press the "Add Classes" button
  Select your classes by placing a check mark in the Select? column for each class you wish to enter. The classes are sorted in class number order and you can use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll the list of classes. When you are finished selecting your classes press the "All Done" button.

• The classes you selected will be identified and appended to the entry form as follows:

• To Complete your entry application and send it to the Show Secretary, press the "checkout" button.

• An email such as the following will be sent to the Show Secretary for that show
